Rebecca Harper (b. 1989) is a London based artist. She graduated from the Royal Drawing School in 2013. Her work is included in various private collections including Windsor Castle.
Rebecca Harper's first UK solo show (at Anima Mundi, March 2019) received the following review in Financial Times: Harper's large seaside landscape reverie with groups of figures separate yet in elusive relationship to each other, was a standout at the 2018 Bloomberg New Contemporaries. This is a welcome first solo show for a young promising painter. Harper orchestrates accomplished, elaborate, decorative compositions (...) underpinned by fine drawing which gives both intimacy and rigour. Peter Doig is a presiding influence, but Harper's limpid manner is distinctive."
