Ezekiel Baroukh (1909-84, Egypt) graduates from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. In 1934, he returns to Alexandria and becomes an active part of the art scene. In 1946, Baroukh leaves for Paris, adopting abstraction as his new style, and he exhibits at the Salon de Mai in 1952 alongside André Lhote.

Ezekiel Baroukh's work is included in numerous private and public collections, including Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Musée National d'Art Moderne Cairo and Musée des Beaux Arts Alexandria.
