Janine Janet (1913, Ile de la Réunion - 2000, France) was an artist and set designer celebrated for the beautiful, imaginative window displays and sculptures she created for brands such as Balenciaga, Hermès, Dior and Givenchy. Janet also created costumes and set design for Jean Cocteau.
Her studies at the Ècole des Arts Décoratifs allowed her to merge the influence of the exotic nature she grow up around on Ile de la Réunion with a classical training.
