Rare silk scarf depicting the tiled dance floor designed by Jean Derval and Roger Capron for the iconic Byblos Hotel in St Tropez in 1968.

Hotel Byblos was founded in 1967 in St Tropez by the Lebanese hotelier Jean-Prosper Gay-Para in a failed attempt to woo Brigitte Bardot. Gay-Para commissioned the famous ceramicists Jean Derval and Roger Capron to decorate his lavish hotel.
