Marcel Vertès (1895 Hungary - 1961, USA) was a French artist and costume designer. Dividing his time between New York and Paris efter WW1, he was awarded several awards for his costume design and is known for his murals at the Carlyle Hotel and the Waldorf Astoria in New York.
