This rare poster was published for Galerie Beyeler, Ernst and Hildy Beyeler's gallery in Basel, on the occasion of the 1958 edition of the exhibition series "Les Maîtres de l'Art Moderne".
The Beyelers sold more than 1000 works by Picasso and devoted several exhibitions to his work. In addition to their gallery business, Ernst and Hildy Beyeler established an important collection of modern art which was converted into a foundation in 1982. In 1997, the museum Fondation Beyeler opened its doors.
