Pierluigi Colli (1895-1968) initially studied at Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris before returning to Italy to manage the family furniture company in the 1920's. Colli remained influenced by French Art Deco throughout his career, and collaborated with important architects and designers such as Gio Ponti and Carlo Mollino.
