The motif of this poster is Raoul Dufy's illustration "Souvenir de la Fete Persane, Hommage de Raoul Dufy à Madame Paul Poiret, 1911". Raoul Dufy designed the program for Paul Poiret's famed party of June 24th 1911, a spectacular celebration of the French couturier's fascination with the Orient.
