Solange Bertrand (1913 - 2011, France) studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Nancy and Paris. In 1947, she exhibits at the Salon d'Automne in Paris and meets artists such as Jean Cocteau, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso with whom she develops a lasting relation. Her work is included in the collection of Musée Picasso in Antibes.
